Virgin organic coconut oil is probably the
single most important supplement of them all when dealing
with cancer. We strongly recommend that every one of you find
a way to get several tablespoons a day into you.
The reason for this is that coconut oil contains
special fatty acids which, according to Jon J. Kabara, Ph.D.
Professor Emeritus, Department of Chemistry and Pharmacology,
Michigan State University, and Bruce Fife, N.D., in the book
The Healing Miracles of Coconut Oil, prevent lipid-0encapsulated
viruses from replicating.
Why is this important?
Because, according to Paul E. Ewald, Professor of Biology
at Amherst University, in his book Plague Time, most
cancers are probably driven by lipid-encapsulated viruses.
He could be right! We believe that cancer is
due to the interaction between three factors: virus, environment
and genetics. Environment includes life-style, pollution,
nutrition (or lack there of), and so on. Certainly we know
that genetics can play a role in cancer, albeit a very small
one. But I do not think most cancer is caused by environment
or genetics; these are simply risk factors that make normal
cells more vulnerable to attach from viruses. I think the crucial
principle is this: with one of these lipid-encapsulated viruses
during the process, cancer, in most cases, would not occur.
How do lipid-encapsulated
viruses drive cancer?
Dr. Weald hypothesizes that these viruses have learned to
replicate the cells they are in, thus causing uncontrolled
tissue growth. The result; cancer. May viruses replicate by
the following process; infecting a cell first, then taking
over the internal machinery of the cell to make copies of
the infecting virus, and finally filling the cell so full
of viruses that it bursts, releasing a storm of new virus
into the surrounding area. This process is what occurs when
you 'catch' a common cold. As the new viruses are released
from burst cells the immune system sees them and reacts. Within
a few days, the immune system is able to kill the virus and
to kill cells infected with the virus, and the cold starts
to go away. It a good thing this immune response process has
been worked out in our bodies over millions of years, because
without the immune response even a simple cold virus could
easily kill us, reducing our entire body to 'soup'.
Lipid-encapsulated viruses, however, have learned
a trick. They hide from the immune system by staying inside
of cells. As they replicate, rater than filling the cell up
bursting it, they take over the cell replication machinery
and cause the cell to reproduce. In effect, they are building
a new hideaway for their offspring. The result is cancer.
The hypothesis is that the medium chain fatty
acids in coconut oil (also known as coconut butter) prevent
lipid-encapsulated viruses from replicating by interfering
with the process of how a new lipid capsule is made for a
new virus. These medium chain fatty acids from coconut oil
are harmless to humans, and, because they are so resistant
to becoming rancid, actually help prevent heart disease. They
also do not cause arthrosclerosis, so you can forget all the
misinformation you might have heard thirty years ago about
coconut oil being bad for the arteries; it wasn't true then
and it's not true now. So, take your virgin organic coconut
oil, every day! I suggest 3-4 tablespoons every day.
Instructions for taking coconut oil:
One of the easiest ways to take coconut oil
is to melt it (just warm it up enough to melt it, don't smoke
it) and just drink it. Be careful not
to make this too hot and burn your mouth. Be sure to stir
with finger before using to check for hot spots in liquid.
Do not microwave!
You
can also melt it and pour it over salad Put
it in a smoothie (but when it gets cool again it balls up) Or
cook with it
